The Knightsbrook Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. We adhere to the Privacy Policy (the ‘Policy’) together with any disclaimers sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you or that you provide us, or that is provided to us relating to you (‘Data’) by any means will not be processed. Please note that the Policy relates only to living individuals in relation to personal data relating directly to themselves, and not to persons in any other capacity.

Information we may collect from you.

We collect personal data from you which you volunteer when you provide such personal data to us, or via our services with which you interact. We may also be given other personal data relating to you by other persons, or we may obtain such data about you as may be provided to us in the course of our legitimate business activities.

We may collect and process Data. Including the following in the course of providing services to you, which could contain your personal data:

We may also process other data, which is not personal data.

When you access our website or wi-fi facilities, your device’s browser provides us with information such as your IP address, browser type, access time and referring URL which is collected and used to compile statistical data. This information may be used to help us to improve our website and the services we offer, and to offer services to you.

Security and where we store your personal data.

We are committed to protecting the security of your personal data. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal data from unauthorised access and use. As effective as modern security practices are, no physical or electronic security system is entirely secure. We cannot guarantee the complete security of our databases, nor can we guarantee that information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the internet. The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure and may involve the transfer of data to countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). This occurs typically through use of cloud solutions for web hosting, email hosting or proprietary software solutions delivered to us through the Cloud, we do not however, authorise any third party to use your personal data for their own purposes. Non-EEA countries may not provide an adequate level of protection in relation to processing your personal data. By submitting your data, you agree to this transfer, storing and processing.

Although we will do our best to protect your personal data we cannot guarantee the security of your personal data transmitted to us. Any transmission of data is at your own risk. Once we receive your personal data, we use appropriate security measures to seek to prevent unauthorised access.

Uses made of your personal data.

We use your personal data that we hold to:

Your Rights.

Cancellation Policy

Card details are required to secure your reservation.

Should you wish to cancel a reservation prior to your arrival 48 hours notice would be required. In the event of the Knightsbrook Hotel not being notified of a cancellation the first night's accommodation will automatically be charged to your credit or debit card.

Advance Purchase Rate, Exclusive Offers & Courtyard Home Deposits:
Advance Purchase Rates, Pre-Paid Rates & Exclusive Offer bookings will be charged in full at the time of booking and are non-refundable.

Health and Hygiene

Knightsbrook Resort's Safe Stay have developed a programme that will introduce a new standard of hotel cleanliness and disinfection to ensure Knightsbrook Resort Guests enjoy an even cleaner and safer stay and most importantly one that is visible at all times. Our Safe Stay Program has been developed with our leading hygiene experts.
1. Physical distancing:
Customers will be advised to practice physical distancing by standing at least 2 metres away from other groups of people not travelling with them while standing in lines, using elevators or moving around the hotel. Reconfiguration of furniture throughout adhering to the Social Distance Guidelines in Bars, Restaurants and Banquet Suites. Plexiglass Barriers will be in place at Reception Desks in Main Foyer, River Spa, Health Club and Golf Shop.
1. Hand Sanitiser:
There will be accessible Disinfecting Facilities at Entrance to the Hotel and High Traffic Areas.
1. Front of House Signage
There will be health and hygiene reminders throughout the Hotel for all guests and customers.
1. Back of House Signage
Signage will be posted throughout the hotel to remind employees of the proper protocol for wearing and disposing of PPE. Also, best practice for hand washing, sneezing protocol and avoiding touching their faces.
1. Knightsbrook Resort Safe Stay Seal
To indicate that guests’ rooms have not been accessed since been thoroughly cleaned.
1. Extra disinfection
The 10 High touch Area in Guests Rooms including light switches, Telephone & TV Remote Controls, Closet Goods and door handles will be given additional attention.
1. Less Communal Access
Concierge Service suspended and limited number of guests in Lifts. Two Stair Routes are also available to all floors.
1. Reduced Amenities in Rooms
Guest bedrooms cannot be accessed or serviced by our accommodation team during your stay following social distance guidelines.

We have also removed the following items from guest bedrooms:
- Pen, paper and guest stationary
- Guest Directory & Brochures
- Glasses
- Iron & Ironing Board
- Shower Gel & Moisturiser (Soap and Shampoo will be supplied)
- Cups in Bedrooms will be replaced with Disposable Cups
- Robes & Slippers (Executive Floor Only)
All of which will be available upon request.

Maintenance - room 202 - elec. razor socket not working ! Everything else first class ! We'll be back in '17 as soon as buggies allowed

We booked the Knightsbrook after a last minute decision to go away, just the two of us, for a night. We booked the special offer which included B&B for one night and spa treatment for €135 each. We also booked late check out and man where we happy we did. On arrival to the hotel we where beyond thrilled to be upgraded to one of the Honeymoon suites. Those suites are huge! There's a staircase in the room. Straight away we ordered room service of a pint of Guinness and a sneaky glass of prosecco, it arrived pretty promptly. The jacuzzi bath is huge and has a tv, perfect for watching Ireland vs New Zealand in the rugby. Quick shower (excellent pressure)and temperature and it was time for dinner in Rococo restaurant down stairs. The food was lovely, service was excellent (especially Danny) and the portion sizes just right. After a solid sleep in the MASSIVE bed we ordered breakfast to be delivered to the room (€5 extra - worth it). It arrived at 9am as ordered and was exactly what we wanted, and toasty not. We skipped down to the spa for our treatment, coconut massage for 55 minutes. Each treatment includes access to the relaxation room and thermal suite. I definitely recommend a trip to the spa. I was so relaxed leaving there. We hopped in the jacuzzi for a quick dip before heading back to our room for a shower (try out the body lotions) and check out. We would definitely go back to the Knightsbrook for a couples weekend away! Oh and the Christmas decorations are fantastic!

IIwas given a room down 2 corridors and because I am not able to walk fast or very far, my daughted asked if I could be moved to a room close to the lift, and she was told no problem....within 2 hours I was given a room which was great for me. Thanks to the 2 girls at the receiption desk for looking after me Its a beautiful hotel and all the staff are excellent.

I took part in a conference and spent two nights in the hotel. It was a quiet place in the irish countryside which alloys the traditional and modern feeling. The room was clear and comfortable, the staff very helpful and friendly. I can offer to anyone who is looking for an accomodation in that area. Zsolt, Budapest, Hungary
