The barman named Dave was excellent efficient, well mannered under pressure and polite.

This is a really excellent hotel. The staff in particular are very helpful and the quality of treatments in the spa is superb.

Hi Myself and my family were very regular guests at your lovely hotel pre Covid and were delighted to return last Saturday. As you are aware we were on a1 night dinner B&B , we had booked our dinner in the Rococo restaurant for 6PM so we decided to have a pre dinner drink in the bar, while chatting to the floor staff we inquired about booking a table for after dinner and the entertainment and were informed that we may not get a table which was dissapointing , So we decided to have dinner in the bar so as to keep the table for later and the evening. We found the dinner menu in the bar extremely limited, However we ordered from it, the starters were excellent Cesar salad was fab as were the chicken wings, Normally we would order fillet steak but there was only Striploin on the menu and we ordered that which was absolutely and totally inedible and tough as old boots, and not even chewable Needless to say it was not eaten, the chips and pepper sauce were also lovely. Very dissapointing considering the quality of the food in Rococo restaurant where we would usually eat is excellent. However not to put a damper on the evening we carried on regardless. We also had the pleasure of meeting and having a chat with Peter Igoe the owner , What a lovely gentleman he is. The STAFF throughout are second to none Courteous, Polite, Helpful, Friendly In all departments.. Suggestion Perhaps the food and beverages manager could look at some way of improving the bar menu and definitely take off the Striploin Leather And @ 27/28€ a bit pricey, If it had been edible the price would not even come into it. Maybe Sirloin and Fillet and some type of fish besides a fish burger,From my perspective i dont care what the cost is as long as its good quality and enjoyabe, Its what makes for a lovely evening out and memorable time. We love staying at Knightsbrook and have sang your praises in our circle of friends and family. Lovely hotel and lovely staff in all departments, See you Guys SOON. Many thanks, Kind regards, Robbie. Had a lovely time at knightsbrooks Service food and staff were lovely Especially want to mention Niamh who served us both afternoon tea and then our dinner that evening She was so nice friendly and very professional.
